  1. Eligibility:
    • Open to U.S.-based small business owners and entrepreneurs aged 18 or older.
    • Applicants must own or represent a legally registered business or be in the process of formally establishing one.
    • Only businesses available to pitch live in Detroit on November 13, 2025, will be considered.
  2. Video Submission Requirements:
    • Each applicant must submit a pitch video no longer than two (2) minutes.
    • Videos must be uploaded to YouTube with a public or unlisted link.
    • The YouTube video link must be included in the online application form.
    • Videos should clearly include:
      • Business name
      • Product or service offered
      • Target market or customer base
      • Why your business should be selected to pitch in Detroit.
  3. Application Process:
    • Applications must be submitted online at pitchtothesharks.live by the Detroit event deadline.
    • Only complete applications (including a valid video link) will be reviewed.
    • Applicants will receive a confirmation email once their submission is received.
  4. Selection Process:
    • Only 10 finalists will be selected to advance to the Pitch to the Sharks segment during the Detroit Money Talk Mixer.
    • Finalists will be notified via email and/or phone.
    • Selection will be based on creativity, business potential, clarity of presentation, and alignment with the competition’s goals.
  5. Finalist Participation:
    • Finalists must be available to pitch live in Detroit on November 13, 2025.
    • Finalists are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
    • Each finalist will receive a total of 5 minutes of live pitch time, which includes both the pitch presentation and Q&A with the panel.
    • Timing will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness for all participants.
  6. Benefits for All Applicants:
    • All eligible applicants who submit a complete application and video will receive:
      • A free 30-day Wealth Club Membership.
      • Access to B3 Virtual Master Classes to help strengthen their business strategy and presentation skills.
  7. Competition Prizes & Exposure:
    • Finalists will pitch to a panel of business leaders, sponsors, and community partners during the Detroit Money Talk Mixer.
    • Selected winners will receive funding opportunities, exposure to Amazon supply chain leaders, and access to additional business growth resources.
  8. General Terms:
    • By submitting an application, applicants grant B3 Elevation permission to use their name, business name, likeness, and video for promotional purposes related to the event.
    • Submissions become the property of B3 Elevation and will not be returned.
    • Participation does not guarantee selection or funding.
    • Decisions of the judging panel are final and binding.
    • B3 Elevation reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
  9. Code of Conduct:
    • All participants are expected to demonstrate professionalism, respect, and integrity throughout the application and competition process.
    • Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in disqualification.
